Mold Testing With
A Candida and Aspergillus Drop Out Plating Mold
Test Kit
Candida and Aspergillus cause health
problems in immunocompromised patients. If you are not immunocompromised,
just sick, Candida and Aspergillus can make you
sicker.

Pneumonia
Pneumonia is
an inflammatory illness of the lung.[1] Frequently, it is described
as lung parenchyma/alveolar inflammation and abnormal alveolar
filling with fluid. (The alveoli are microscopic air-filled sacs
in the lungs responsible for absorbing oxygen from the atmosphere.)
Pneumonia can result from a variety of causes, including infection
with bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites, and chemical or
physical injury to the lungs. Its cause may also be officially
described as idiopathicthat is, unknownwhen infectious
causes have been excluded.
Typical symptoms
associated with pneumonia include cough, chest pain, fever, and
difficulty in breathing. Diagnostic tools include x-rays and
examination of the sputum. Treatment depends on the cause of
pneumonia; bacterial pneumonia is treated with antibiotics.
Pneumonia is
a common illness which occurs in all age groups, and is a leading
cause of death among the elderly and people who are chronically
and terminally ill. Vaccines to prevent certain types of pneumonia
are available. The prognosis depends on the type of pneumonia,
the appropriate treatment, any complications, and the person's
underlying health.
Health Professional Mold and
Candida testing cannot be done with a hardware store "Professional"
mold test kit or a best guess mold test kit, often called a bioaerosol
cassette. If you are concerned with mold testing for health do
not call a mold inspector or get a hardware store mold test kit.
Do it Yourself using Optimum Recovery Labs' #1 Mold Test Kit
for health testing molds and Candida, Laboratory In
A Box(TM) Mold Test Kit.

Testing Reports: Just a list of names. No Photo = No Proof.
Environmental testing for mold:
the "standard" is less mold inside than outside. This
may work for sick buildings, however,'less than outside' is not
an acceptable health standard.

- Easygel® Thermally Independent,
Transformational, Complex Non-Synthetic Drop Out Media for the
Optimum Recovery, Segregation, Isolation and Broad Spectrum Identification
of Fungal Moulds and Yeast
The diversity of recovery is
possible because Easygel® liquid solid transformation encapsulates
settled subsurface organisms, applying pressure to the organism
in the environment, required for morphologic development of yeast
and yeast-like organisms.
Easygel® thermally independent,
transformational, complex non-synthetic drop out media is the
key to broad spectrum recovery of fungi the understudied kingdom.

Hypotonic Culture of
Yeast Organisms - 3-D Morphology of Recovered Organisms
Thermally Independent
Culture Methods (Room Temperature)
Current culture
methods and materials do not provide the environment required
for the morphologic development of yeast and yeast-like organisms.
The formation
of pseudohyphae and hyphal-like extensions is predictable with
our transformational hypotonic solution culture methods. Subsurface
culture, calcium ionization and terminally independent solidification
of the media promote 3-D morphological development of yeast and
yeast-like organisms.
Easygel ®
Yeast Morphology PDA Agar Calcium Enriched media causes a transition
from the unicellular yeast form to a hyphal growth mode, this
dimorphism is simply achieved and is pictured below.
The encapsulation
of the yeast in a subsurface environment also causes projectile
sporing and should be further investigated to determine if this
condition is an occurrence of Lysis (disruption of the cell wall)
or some other mechanism. Cytolysis may occur in re-culture form
one Easygel ® media to another or the same Easygel ®
media as there is ample water during the first three days of
growth.
A major factor
in the Cytolysis of organisms re-cultured in Easygel ® media
is that a healthy specimen grown in a nutritionally rich environment
is re-cultured into a fertile condition, so the organism will
grow and thrive. The population of organisms in the culture determine
the depletion of the nutritional and water content of the media.
The ratio of nutritional and water content to the population
of organisms will be the determining factor as to the occurrence
of Cytolysis
Yeast Facts
Yeast and Yeast like organisms are members of the family of Fungi.
The kingdom of Fungi is understudied.
Recently Yeast has earned attention from the medical community.
Yeast is an opportunistic pathogen.
The Yeast Candida causes too many illnesses to be listed here.
Search these terms:
candida cutaneous
infection
candida oral infection
candida lung infection
systemic yeast infection
fungal infection sinusitis
The Yeast Candida appears
more frequently in morbidity and mortality reports than all the
filamentous and non-filamentous moulds.
Yeast is disseminated in the
air by humans and pets.
Breathing too much yeast is
just as bad for you as breathing too much mould.
To effectively capture Yeast
for air quality testing purposes, you must use a cellouse filter
cassette.
Yeast recovery for culture
from a cellouse filter cassette requires Fungi Culture Protocol
that use Hypotonic Culture in the recovery process.
To remove yeast and yeast like organisms from the air in a dwelling
you must biowash the air.

recovery being Mold and Candida which prefer high pH media;

Why You Can't Rely
on a Mold Inspector
Tandem in-line
samples were collected of Bioaerosol cassette blow-by. Twenty
samples were collected and the results are published. Three different
laboratories were used for analysis of the cassettes. The cassette
results are not in question as to naming of mold spores or counts
on found on cassette samples, as they bear little resemblance
to spore counts and types of the viable tandem cassette. Results
of tandem grab sample and culture, click
